New trainings for IRB-01 and sponsored projects required by Jan. 7 and 15, respectively
In January 2013, new training requirements take effect for IRB-01 and sponsored projects.
Mandatory Training for IRB-01 Research Projects
Complete by Jan. 7, 2013
Effective Jan. 7, 2013, in order for a protocol to be reviewed by UF IRB‐01 (Health Center IRB), new IRB education requirements must be met by all investigators, sub-investigators, research coordinators and any other study staff involved in the conduct of a human subject research study (i.e., those previously listed in Addendum A).

Mandatory Training in Cost Principles for Sponsored Projects
Complete by Jan. 15, 2013
Effective Jan. 15, 2013, in order for Notice of Award actions to proceed, a new training course in cost principles must be completed by all individuals listed as an investigator on any UF sponsored project and for anyone within the UF enterprise who facilitates the development of budgets, charging of costs, distribution or allocation of payroll, reporting, or any other fiscal activity for sponsored funds.
The course name is “Cost Principles” (course number RSH260), and it is available online through myUFL by navigating to Main Menu > My Self Service > Training and Development > Request Training Enrollment.
