Join the Fight Against Cancer
We are the University of Florida Health Cancer Center — more than 250 researchers and clinicians at UF Health who provide cancer care and conduct research for the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Cancer is the second leading cause of death nationwide and nearly half of all Americans will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. Everyone will be touched by this disease, either directly as a person diagnosed with cancer or indirectly as the loved one or friend of someone who has been.
That’s why hundreds of UF Health scientists, clinicians, research assistants, nurses, technicians and staff come together every day as multidisciplinary patient care teams and researchers. These dedicated professionals work within the most comprehensive academic medical center in the Southeast to investigate and analyze new information and to channel discoveries into new therapies in the fight against cancer.
The UF Health Cancer Center invites you to join in this fight. Opportunities to get involved include participating in clinical trials to bring ground-breaking cancer therapies into conventional use, making a gift to fund essential research, inviting one of the center’s cancer experts to speak to your organization, or volunteering in the UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital.
