Medical Fellows & Junior Faculty
The CTSI Translational Workforce Development Program offers the following educational opportunities for medical fellows and junior faculty:
Designed for individuals who wish to learn more about the key areas of clinical/ translational science, including grant and manuscript writing, biostatistics, ethics and study design.
A 30-credit-hour degree (with required mentored research project and thesis) designed to provide a comprehensive didactic curriculum and training program in clinical and translational science.
Two-year, tuition-funded mentored training program for faculty and senior fellows at the University of Florida who have a passion to pursue clinical/ translational research in the health sciences as a major component of their careers. Designed to provide sufficient research experience, didactic knowledge and publishable research outcomes to be competitive for a K-level (NIH) mentored research award or equivalent.
A research training and funding opportunity that supports didactic coursework, mentored research and multidisciplinary teamwork to develop the skills necessary to build a well-funded collaborative research career.
Highly interactive two-week series led by top faculty. Includes small-group sessions to develop an interdisciplinary protocol.
Tiered awards available for participation in workshops and seminars focused on teaching scholarship and educational research for all professional faculty within the six UF Health Science Center colleges, as well as graduate students and postdocs interested in academic careers
