In its capacity as the urban campus, the Health Science Center – Jacksonville serves a population with diverse socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. Departments have been successful in performing clinical trials because of their ability to utilize their strong clinical programs to recruit and retain research subjects. This research environment is available to researchers from the Gainesville campus in collaboration with College of Medicine – Jacksonville faculty.
