UF Open Access Publishing Fund Continues for 2012-13 Fiscal Year

With generous support from the Office of the Provost, the George A. Smathers Libraries will award up to $75,000 on a first-come, first-served basis during the 2012-13 fiscal year to support the publication of peer-reviewed research articles in open-access or paid-access (hybrid) journals. The UF Open-Access Publishing Fund supports the goal of making UF research findings immediately, freely and globally available.

When funds are not available from other sources, any UF faculty member, postdoctoral researcher, staff member or student author may request up to $3,000 per year to pay for article-processing fees required to publish peer-reviewed research articles in eligible journals.
