Congratulations to UF CTSI TL1 Scholar Martin Wegman on receiving the American Medical Association Foundation’s 2013 Leadership Award.
The AMA award provides medical students, residents/fellows and early career physicians from around the country with special training to develop their skills as future leaders in organized medicine and community affairs.
Now in his third year of the M.D.-Ph.D. program at UF and a recipient of a TL1 predoctoral training grant from the UF CTSI, Wegman is studying health outcomes and policy at the UF College of Medicine and is a doctoral candidate in the department of epidemiology in the College of Public Health and Health Professions and the College of Medicine.
