The UF CTSI is funded in part by the National Institutes of Health Clinical and Translational Science Award program, which supports a national consortium of 62 medical research institutions.
The CTSA consortium works together to improve the way clinical and translational research is conducted nationwide to enhance its efficiency and quality. Its goals are to speed the translation of laboratory discoveries into treatments for patients, to engage communities in clinical research, and to train a new generation of clinical and translational researchers. The CTSA program is led by the NIH’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences.
