CTSI Pilot Project Awardee receives Residents’ Award from the American Association of Veterinary Clinicians

Congratulations to Andrew Smith, D.V.M, for receiving a Residents’ Award from the American Association of Veterinary Clinicians for his achievements in clinical, educational and scholarly arenas. He is a resident in the large animal surgery department of the UF College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Smith is also a CTSI Pilot Project Awardee for his project titled “Magnetic Resonance Imaging Findings in an Experimental Equine Model of Osteoarthritis Treated with Self-complementary Adeno-associated Virus-mediated Delivery of Equine Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist Protein.”
