Two new certificate programs offered by the UF College of Pharmacy

Beginning in the fall of 2018, the University of Florida College of Pharmacy will offer two new online certificate programs to expand clinical knowledge in precision medicine and train biomedical scientists to be more effective teachers. Both programs are designed for working professionals and graduate students, with online courses available on-demand, no travel requirements and the opportunity to complete coursework within a year.

Participants in the Graduate Certificate in Precision Medicine program will learn the latest in genomic technologies and precision medicine therapies, while helping position themselves to become precision medicine leaders in their field. The Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Scientists as Educators will prepare graduate students, postdocs and working professionals to be more effective teachers, as they develop the essential skills required to become an instructional leader in any teaching environment. The Graduate Certificate in Precision Medicine was developed through the UF Health Personalized Medicine Program, part of the CTSI, and the Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Scientists as Educators was developed with Clinical and Translational Science Award support.”
