Are you a research coordinator who is focused on professional development?


Attend the UF CTSI Clinical Research Professionals Advisory Council seminar series, typically held on the last Friday of the month from noon to 1:30 p.m.  Each seminar will focus on a different topic that aims to foster development and share resources.

UF Health Shands is a CE Provider recognized by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBN# 50-1790). Participants who attend this activity will be awarded contact hours from the Florida Board. Criteria for successful completion in order to award contact hours: attend entire session and submit a completed evaluation form.

Fundamentals of Good Clinical Practice

A Basic Overview of the FDA and ICH Guidance and Regulations that exist for conducting Human Subject Research

1. Review principles and regulatory requirements for Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
2. Discuss roles and responsibilities of the Principal Investigator and study’s staff, protocol compliance, and other criteria for conducting clinical trials.
3. Examine best practices, examples of GCP noncompliance, and corrective actions for protocol or procedural deviations.
4. Discuss compliance scenarios related to regulatory and protocol compliance

Membership is not required for online registration of contact hours.To receive contact hours: Purchase the contact hours, sign in at the registration desk, and attend the program.
