Deadline Jan. 28: CTSI Learning Health System (LHS) Initiative Translational Pilot Awards Request for Proposals

Deadline: Friday, Jan. 28., 2022 by 5 p.m.

The UF CTSI Learning Health System Program is pleased to invite applications for Translational Pilot Awards that use a “learning health system” approach to align research and clinical operations to improve health outcomes and advance health equity using informatics, stakeholder engagement, implementation science and other methodologies to address priority areas at UF Health (see below). The Translational Pilot Program is supported in part by the UF-FSU CTSA Award funded through the NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences.

For the 2022-23 cycle, the LHS Program is seeking to fund a portfolio of projects related to telehealth. We are seeking proposals focused on the use of telehealth used alone or in combination with other remote methods (for example, “robocalls,” texting, or other methods) to reduce readmissions and/or emergency department use. Because sepsis is a major cause for readmissions, special consideration will be given for ideas related to sepsis.
