UF faculty, fellows, residents, students and trainees are invited to attend this forum to learn how to better partner with industry through targeted communication, increased awareness of industry resources and actions tailored to improve appropriate collaborations. The goal of fostering these collaborations is to aid in the development of improved medicines and related products that can ultimately contribute to improved health outcomes worldwide.

Panelists

During this forum, a panel of research and development experts from UF and BMS will share their experiences as research professionals and discuss opportunities for partnership between academia and industry, starting points for collaboration and practical applications for clinical research.

Attendees are encouraged to ask questions as well as join future forums for additional information.

Thomas George, MD, FACP

Dr. George is a clinical investigator and educator with a focus on gastrointestinal malignancies. He serves as the director of UF's GI Oncology Program as well as the associate director for clinical research at the UF Health Cancer Center.
