Matt joined the CTSI’s Clinical Research Center in February 2024 and quickly became a valued asset to the team through his dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit. In his new role, he will lead the planning and direction of clinical research activities, coordinate closely with research teams, and oversee clinical operations to ensure the seamless implementation of clinical protocols. Matt will supervise a dynamic team of nurses, lab technicians, dietary staff, and research personnel — all while upholding a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, staff development, and continuous process improvement.
Reflecting on his new role, Matt shared, “I look forward to working with this elite team designed specifically to help progress clinical and translational research.”
Originally from Massachusetts, Matt relocated to Gainesville in 2022 from the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area and now lives here with his wife, Kelly, and their two sons, Joseph and Zachary.
