There is no cost to register for the event, but attendees are responsible for their own travel costs and arrangements. To help defray costs and encourage broad participation from national CTSA Program hubs, IDeA-CTR sites and Cooperative Extension services, travel stipends are available as follows:
CTSA Program hub and IDeA-CTR site nominees
Thanks to the generous support of CLIC, each CTSA Program hub and IDeA-CTR site is eligible to nominate one individual to receive a travel stipend of up to $500, pending budget availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Selection of a nominee is at the discretion of the CTSA or IDeA-CTR principal investigator (PI) and requires a letter of support from the PI as follows:
- Letter of support template: A template letter of support (download DOC) is provided with the information needed as well as details about the kinds of costs eligible for reimbursement. Completed letters should be placed on your institution’s letterhead and signed by your PI.
- Letter of support submission: If you select the stipend option during registration, we will follow up to request additional information and the signed letter of support.
Cooperative Extension attendees
Thanks to the generous support of UF/IFAS, a limited number of stipends are available to attendees who work with Cooperative Extension Service institutions. One recipient per institution is eligible to receive a travel stipend of up to $500 on a first-come, first-served basis at the discretion of organizers. Simply indicate your interest in an Extension travel stipend on the registration form, and we will follow up with you.
