The Mentor Academy provides research mentors with opportunities to develop mentoring skills through biweekly sessions during a four-month program.
Dr. Roger Fillingim leads The Mentor Academy that promotes the development of the next generation of clinical and translational scientists through a culture of support for mentoring and training in optimizing mentoring relationships for mentors and mentees at all levels of career development.
Beyond the Master Mentor Program, the Mentor Academy plans to develop training programs for early career mentors as well as for mentees, including junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students.
