Description

Were excited for our second career development seminar of the semester, hosted by the COM Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences and MGSO. Join us next week, October 17, from 4-5 pm for an in-person seminar with Dr. Tyler McCullough in the DeWeese Auditorium at the McKnight Brain Institute (LG-101A). This will be an in-person seminar with FOOD!!

Dr. Tyler McCullough is a UF PhD alumni from the lab of Dr. Shannon Boye, and currently works at Life Edit Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist. With a background in AAV and CRISPR, Dr. McCullough will present his talk, "Ruffling Feathers" to share his experience with navigating the transition from his post-doc to working in a startup that has grown significantly over the last few years.

We look forward to seeing you there! Please note that attendance is mandatory for first-year BMS students as per program requirements, and attendance will be recorded. Please let us know ASAP if you have any dietary restrictions so we can try to accommodate them.

If youre interested in joining the post-seminar dinner, please fill out the form (https://ufl.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0SrDeCX659kABzE) by 4 pm on Monday, 10/14/24. Space is limited.
