Accommodations

We’re excited to have you join us for the conference. Please note that all attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel and lodging. There are many hotels located southwest of the university down Archer Rd., near Interstate 75, This is a nice area with lots of shopping and restaurants. It is likely many federal employees will find themselves in this area. The Downtown Hampton and Hyatt are in the heart of nightlife.  The Reitz Union Hotel is in the center of campus- it is a bit dated, but you can’t beat the location. Hotels on the edge of UF campus, where you could walk in 30 min or hop on a city bus toward campus, are the UF Hilton, Hotel Eleo, Holiday Inn University, AC Hotel Gainesville Downtown, Aloft Hotel. If you have a car, the Best Western in the northwest is nice, with a resort feel.

To assist with your planning, we’ve gathered some information on local accommodations.
