An expert on health and interpersonal communication, Dr. Krieger joined the UF College of Journalism and Communications on July 1. She is developing the college's new center for STEM-H translational communication research, a preeminence initiative that builds on the groundwork laid by the CTSI Communication Research Program.
The study is the first of its kind to look at frail, older adults. It was conducted at eight field centers that included three CTSA institutions - UF, Stanford University and Yale University.
