Clinical Faculty and Research

The University of Florida employees many clinical faculty. The University also has a large research portfolio in clinical and translational science. It is important to the clinical faculty and to the development of the CTS program of the University that opportunities are created for participation and engagement of clinical faculty in research. The current research environment is often less than conducive to participation by clinical faculty. We will explore how this can be changed.

Goals and objectives

  1. Explore opportunities for involvement of clinical faculty in research
  2. Develop identified opportunities
  3. Promote opportunities to increase participation of clinical faculty in research

Dr. David Nelson

Clinical faculty will have clear opportunities for involvement in the research program of the university. Researchers will have opportunities for engaging clinical faculty in research.

A first meeting has been held. If you are interested in participating, please contact the CTSI office at 352-273-8700.
