The goal of this study is to investigate participants consumption, and taste preferences for spices in food and drink. The study will aid in developing a new product as part of a clinical trial. 

Participation includes…

  •  Attend (1) confidential focus group session 
  • Complete a demographic questionnaire as well as a frequency questionnaire regarding spice consumption in the last 30-days 
  • Have the option to taste 5 products containing spices 
  • Participation in the focus group and completing the questionnaire will take approximately 45-60 minutes 

This study can be completed from home.


Participants will be compensated $15 gift card for their time and participation 


To be eligible to participate individuals need to meet the following criteria:

  • Men and women  
  • Are between the ages 23-50  
  • Have no known taste aversion
