Join us for the 2nd annual Cancer Chomp, an event presented by the Preston A. Wells Jr. Center for Brain Tumor Therapy at the University of Florida in conjunction with the Lillian S. Wells Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Florida.
Hosted at the UF Cancer & Genetics Research Complex, this event features a 5K run/walk, food trucks, a Kid Zone, charitable organizations, community vendors, mini therapy horses, UF Gator mascots, the Gator Marching Band and much more!
This event is free to attend though there is a small fee to participate in the 5K. Registration for the 5K remains open until noon on September 29.
All proceeds from this event support patients and their families undergoing brain tumor treatment at UF Health. This support includes (but is not limited to) lodging assistance, gas cards, help with medication copays and the purchase of medical equipment not covered by insurance.
