The CTSI welcomes and congratulates new members of its Academy of Research Excellence following completion of the Spring 2014 ARE programs.
The new CTSI Mentor Academy is structured around a year-long seminar series to strengthen the skills of research mentors and increase the success of both mentors and mentees at UF.
This fall the National Center for Research Resources announced the development of the CTSA Women in Clinical and Translational Research Interest Group. The group will address the “leaky pipeline” problem of women in biomedical research, focusing on issues related to sustainability (retention; advancement, promotion and tenure) and mentoring.
